Overview
- Sometimes called ‘grease mat’, the Wash horse is made to soak up oils, fat and cooking grease as well as moisture
- Typically used in food preparation areas where there is grease and oil present which can be walked from the dirty area into a clean area
- The excellent absorption properties of cotton means that the mat quickly becomes very dirty and for this reason needs to be exchanged and laundered on a regular basis
- Edged borders reduce the danger of stumbling and allows for easy transport of trolleys and wheelchairs over the surface
